Brian offers a non-judgemental, safe environment to all his clients. Establishing a collaborative partnership with each client based on trust and acceptance is at the heart of his practice as both trust and acceptance are essential to bring about positive change. Brian’s compassionate practice and overall warmth enables him to connect with all people. He has particular interest and experience in providing support for those who struggle to maintain a healthy work/life balance, manage their stress levels, or live with ongoing mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, grief and/or trauma.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Brian welcomes people of all identities into his practice.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Person Centered Therapy (PCT) are approaches Brian integrates into his practice. This integrative and eclectic approach to counseling enables Brian to employ the most tailored and effective approach for each client. Brian is an empathic and respectful person and these attributes shine through his counseling style.
Brian attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and completed his B.A in Psychology. More recently he obtained his Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
